The text is silkscreened over and over, slowly building up the paint to three dimensions. No registration marks are used; it's all by eye because its usually perfect when little flaws happen. I think tiny imperfections give the work more realness and warmth. Perfect from a distance, but clearly human-made upon closer examination. Also a fan of wabi-sabi, the Japanese philosophy which calls for seeing beauty in the flawed or imperfect.
